Hello im having a hard time playing the game with the patch im always getting syntax error , even with having the physical game , thanks for the help
ReplyDeleteI don’t think I’ve gotten reports of this problem from anyone else. Is your computer set to Japanese locale?
DeleteI recall that I did get one case of the game crashing when the user reached a specific line. It turned out that his base installation had corrupted one of the image files, and I had to make a special patch to remove that image. You might want to try reinstalling.
Yeah i already put the local under jp , just want to make sure im suppose to put your file under the game file right ?
DeleteThe same directory as data.xp3.
DeleteAlso try it on a different computer or virtual machine, if you can. There might be something strange about your setup.
Hello , yeah i tried it again and i am still getting syntax error , i was wondering if you could make a patch where it could just extract the game disk like mirror moon english patch ? Thank you
DeleteI have no idea what you’re talking about. All that the patch does is override the script files, images, and a few configuration files. The game disc should have nothing to do with it.
DeleteAt what point does the error occur? Does it happen without the patch? Can you provide a screenshot?
Hi Rattan Man having trouble understanding intrusions what does mean copy patch.xp3 to the game root folder
ReplyDeleteI don’t think there’s any other way of explaining it. Just go to where the game's installed and put patch.xp3 next to data.xp3.
DeleteHi. Thanks for translating the game. I'm trying to make a Spanish translation based on it, but I don't know how to package the patch properly. I'm using Garbro for packaging, can you tell me what encryption scheme to use for this game?
ReplyDeleteI can't even remember if there was any kind of encryption. The thing you have to remember is that KiriKiriZ is different from KiriKiri2, despite using the same file formats. You can't necessarily use the same kind of tools for both. I used KrKrExtract for repacking this one, and I don't think encryption was an issue.
DeleteThe KrKrExtract from unlimit999 works fine, thanks!
