Kind of. The problem with yaoi is that it’s frequently either steeped in cheap, crappy romance without much substance, or filled with the most angular people you’ve ever seen. The first issue is also the reason I usually don’t pay attention to yuri: I’ve seen too many manga that are nonstop blushing and feelings, and I frankly don’t care how “pure” that’s supposed to be if it’s fucking boring.
