Best order to play the Taimanin VN's in?

I would do it in release order. The early ones would probably seem more primitive and disappointing if you played them later, and you'll get to see how certain concepts evolved. For example, you can see how the Taimanin went from being portrayed as a small, illegal organization to an incorporated branch of the government. Or how cellular remodelling was meant to be a form of torture that only Asagi can even halfway withstand, but then eventually turned into a commonplace thing that happens to everybody at some point. Or how a story about secretive trained killers somehow morphed into a story about the students of a ninja high school.
