With Taima Seikou Alice finished is there any chance for Seigi no Henshin Heroine?

I'm never going to rule that out, but the person who claimed to be doing a translation has gotten in touch with me again recently, and provided proof this time. Apparently, the delay is down to a combination of perfectionism and not having as much time as during the pandemic. So there's still a decent chance of that project materializing.

I recall that sometime before The Emoji Movie came out someone on YouTube jokingly asked if there was going to be a sex scene involving the main couple (who are both well emojis).

If that movie did have a sex scene, would you watch it?

No, but then, neither did anybody else.

Do you think there is a mrs Claus? Do you think she gets annoyed every time her husband goes out he comes home with an empty sack?

Nah, I bet she's into it.

Ho Ho Holy shit do I hate rushing these things out in time for Christmas. I swore I'd never do that again after TY2, yet here we are.

I have nothing new to add that I haven't already gone over with the partial patch releases, so to recap:

  • For the sake of preserving atmosphere, this patch has been handled in slightly more of a localization style than I usually prefer. So you lose some of the nuance associated with honourifics like sama, but it's more suitable for a Western fantasy universe like this.
  • Written sound effects are now accompanied by audio, taken both from TA0 and from various Internet sources.
  • There was a lot of lore on the website for this game which never got mentioned at any point. It has been given its own section in the main menu, which also gives you more opportunity to listen to a music track that is barely used in the game.
  • I've added the game's advertisement as an OP.
Tell me if I've screwed anything up, etc. etc.

Santa, can I have a translation for that vile degenerate monster-rape eroge I probably shouldn't tell anyone I played for christmas?

No. Santa's busy. Just for that, you're getting a bible.

Wait, I sent in 50 mail-in ballots for the last poll. What happened to them? Since when do porn polls have more integrity than elections?

Well, in fairness, I did accept votes from a lot of dead people.

Anonymous asked:

Which scenes/events are currently leading in the polls?

I'm not revealing that, because it will affect the results. I made an exception last time, since I didn't want to call it on a margin of 14-13, and even just drawing attention to that fact completely swung the situation to a 32-20 landslide.

When will bitcoin/cryptocurrencies replace traditional money?

Tuesday. Don't tell me you forgot? Don't worry, you just send all yours to me, and you'll be swimming in RattCoin before you know it.

Anonymous asked:

Since you're now doing RPGX scene translations on the side, have you thought about focusing on seasonal content when their holidays draw near? Like doing a Christmas or valentine's scene vote when those days come by?

I've considered picking topical content, in cases where the choice is solely up to me, but it's not an option right now. At the moment, there are still a lot of concepts and characters that we haven't even gotten to yet, like Clone Asagi and her Scooby Doo gang. Once they're "unlocked", in the sense that they've made an appearance in the story, I'll feel more free to work on their associated scenes. So as time goes by, I'll have more and more options available to me, but currently, the situation is such that I don't have enough good choices to pursue that strategy. If I were trying to choose a Christmas scene for a release right now, I would either be taking away a voting option from an event just eight episodes away, or I would be looking to the following year, where the main options are either young Sakura (which would skip an upcoming scene of hers), Unreed Bonnie (whose first scene I did far too recently), or Nao (who doesn't even appear until the end of chapter 18).

My main concern is context, which is also why I made it a rule to do the characters' scenes in order, and try not to get too far ahead of everything that's been established already. Some of the scenes reference things from the stories, and if I haven't gotten to those story parts yet, I'm going to have a lot of problems. For instance, in the Unreed Bonnie scene, she references what the official localizers called a "Crossroads of Confusion", and if it hadn't clicked with me that it was the same made-up word that was used in a previous chapter, I would have had no idea what that meant, or if I was translating it correctly.

Need help proofreading? ( ͡❛ ͜ʖ ͡❛)( ͡❛ ͜ʖ ͡❛)( ͡❛ ͜ʖ ͡❛)

Don't you make that face at me. I don't trust your shifty eyes.

Anonymous asked:

Do already know your next game to translate?

I intend to focus on RPGX until at least the end of "season six" (which is to say, the moronic Super Sonico event). Afterwards, I'm thinking of maybe making the next project Himekishi Lilia, since that's nearly in the top five of my requests list, and I've learned that it's extremely short.

Anonymous asked:

Do you ever get disappointed over a game or scene winning a vote for personal taste reasons?

Well, I had to do Tsuma Netori and Ochiru Hitozuma, so obviously yes. But there won't be any of that when it comes to the scene vote. The way I have it structured, for every story chapter, I can just pick whatever I want, and that will eventually mean scenes that have already been voted against. You may think you're safe from Oboro's strap-on, but it's still lubed up and waiting.

Anonymous asked:

Did you ever play wow classic?

No. I never liked the idea of having to pay a subscription fee to play a game. Not even Mr. T could sell me on that concept.
