How much of RPGX are you planning to translate?

No idea. It's probably not going to be all of it, as I'll almost certainly be made redundant by advances in machine translation sooner or later. But I feel a certain level of responsibility, because I spent years saying no to people who requested scenes, on the basis that there would eventually be an official localization. Which there was, but I couldn't have foreseen the absolute blunder that its launch would turn out to be.

As I stated when I began, I don't want to move away from VNs entirely. However, I have been encountering a problem for a few years, where all the companies and series that once seemed largely safe from localization are, in fact, proving not to be. Every time I look into something like Orcsoft or Inyouchuu, the localizers then move in and remove that option. Shiravune is especially industrious, and there's no way I can compete with that. At the very least, RPGX is probably not going to be brought back, with the possible exception of some of its scenes being put into some other kind of gacha. It would be useful to have a "safe" project that I can rely on not to be picked up by anyone.
