Personally, I don't. I transliterate everything. Sound effects get obnoxious to convey, and they're not honestly that important anyway. These days I just compliment them with audio files, so that anyone familiar with Japanese sound effects will understand the nuances, and anyone else will still get the basic gist of them.

I wouldn't know, because I don't use Twitter. I hate what social networks have done to the Internet. The one and only reason I have an account there is so that there's a backup channel the next time I get my blog banned.

Barring any unforeseen explosion in publicity, I don't see it particularly growing the audience. It's more likely to cannibalize the Action userbase and burn people out.

I haven't heard anything about that, and even if they did leave, that could just be speculation. It's heavily suspected that AI was a part of Aoi Nagisa moving away from the company, but there have always been departures, or artists moving on to other companies or projects. As an example, Butcha-U and Mizuryuu Kei both did scenes for TABA, yet weren't around by the time it transitioned to RPGX, and that was way before AI came along.

I did previously receive some evidence that there was, in fact, a translation. It could technically be a machine translation that he's passing off, but skimming through it, it did bear some of the signs of a manual translation.

This is why I spent the first few years of this blog reluctant to publicly commit to what I was doing until it was done. I've seen so many translation projects stall, usually at an early stage, but sometimes even at an advanced stage. You have to be committed to finishing what you started, which will necessarily mean giving up on fun and relaxation, and not quitting just because you've started to hate the workload.

I've heard of it but not looked into it. I am not aware if anyone's tried to preserve its content, so there may or may not be anything to translate in the first place.
