I don't want to say anything's off the table, but I'm not keen on working on anything that has too much gameplay. The reason for this is that the proofreading phase is analogous to playtesting. I don't want to, for example, be stalled from progressing by a boss battle, or have to replay a section over and over again to see every branching path a choice causes, or do something really hard or obscure to see a bit of game content. It's made worse by the fact that I would have to go over that stuff again at least once to make sure that any changes I make look right, are correct and don't break anything. VNs are easy, because all you have to do is go back a certain number of choices and press the skip button until it gives you something you haven't covered yet.

Also, are you going to cancel the other VN below now? It looks decent enough so that'd kinda suck if so.

It's not "cancelled", not least of all because I didn't pick it up in the first place. It's still an option. It's just that I stopped counting new requests for it a long time ago. That said, I expect it will probably be localized someday. Given the age of some of the games Shiravune has been licensing, clearly nothing is safe, and it does look good enough to get picked up. If I do Gyakushuu, it might be slowly and half-heartedly, with the expectation of getting screwed over.
