I dunno, why do we still have Daylight Savings Time? I've heard some conjecture that it would be too politically damaging for any one politician to come forth and champion the cause of smut, but I don't know how true that is. Most of the time the censorship doesn't matter that much anyway, so I think people have just learned to live with it.
I shit you not, I‘ve heard so many Japanese ppl advocate for it too. Some bullshit about having it use your imagination and the allure of something displayed being “forbidden” makes it hotter. Its honestly all so stupid but I’ve heard enough Japanese people talking for it, it has me thinking most japanese are completely cool with it and there is no real push for uncensoring by the people so it might just never happen.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely do not agree with them at all, but I guess I can understand their point. I do prefer women wearing some clothes in porn. It makes it hotter for me than just a naked body. It accentuates the sexiness. So I guess those japanese's take is kind of similar. But it's still stupid. I wouldn't pass a law for women to do porn clothed :P
DeleteBTW I honestly never understood that censorship. Sure, I know what their goal was, but this just enabled people to make more and more perverted stuff to compensate and we're way past the point where that content is way way way more hardcore than just seeing genitals. So while I hate censorship, to me, it's kind of a good trade-off lol I would definitely prefer both, though, but it is most probably never gonna happen (aside from more uncensored things for the west)
Japanese law is just riddled with loopholes and inconsistencies that seem to make the problem they legalize against become worse. LIke gambling is illegal but then you got Pachinko parlors being one of the biggest gambling industries in the world, all by simply putting the cash reward exchange in the building next door.
