Have you ever been excited(or looked forward) to playing a vn or enjoying a piece of media that once you got to it, it has let you down completely or do you generally hold no expectations of stuff you want to play or indulge

I've obviously been disappointed by things before, and it just teaches you to not get excited about anything.
