The best one is "We took videos of ourselves raping you, so have sex with us or we'll publicly incriminate ourselves." I think the basic problem is that the Japanese have this cultural stereotype of the "pure", idealized heroine, and that's what they tend to start from when it comes to corruption, degradation and netorare stories. When they do netorare especially, they need to contrive a reason for such a pure, innocent maiden to do things that are inherently not in her nature, and there are only so many ideas that people have come up with for that. All of them are pretty flimsy, because you're trying to marry two pretty incompatible concepts: If the heroine is so damn pure, then they're not going to have done anything bad that one could actually blackmail them over. I suspect that's the reason why none of the setups for these things ever ring true, and I wouldn't be surprised if they've become jokey, self-aware cliches by now.

I assume that they just try to leave a game open-ended in case a sequel happens. I think they probably do have some idea of where Yukikaze and Asagi Zero will go, but I doubt they think that far ahead with any of the others.

Obviously, VNs are preferable to a lot of the stuff they're doing now. Probably the worst part of it is the deliberate sequel hook they gave to TY2... Seven. Years. Ago.

No. There wouldn't be any point in that. And it's moot anyway, because I couldn't find time to both have a relationship and still work on patches.

Both. Especially when it came to the Premium Boxes, I had to get other people to make rips of their own copies for me. There was no way I was going to spend that much to import duplicate copies of the games, just so I could convert the scripts.

Probably not if it's made by Lilith. Their games tend to have about four choices in them, so I don't see them doing the intricacies of a "dating sim" format that well. I also don't really see what the setting or story would be. A Taimanin game should have some kind of action element, such as going on a mission, but a dating sim would involve staying in one setting, most likely Gosha. Instead, that seems like the sort of thing that you might try building on top of the existing RPGX structure: adding a "dating" element with actual choices, gifts and short events could encourage people to stay invested in the game—especially in the worksafe RPG version, where there are no scenes to unlock.

It is on the list, and it has a surprising number of requests, but I'm not likely to work on it in the immediate future.
You have to go out of your way to crack the password, which means setting up Visual Studio and executing a certain script. (Which I hesitate to openly link to unless you're serious about this, since identifying the vulnerability in public might lead to them discovering and fixing it, thus rendering future Animation versions unpatchable.) Then, you just use WinRAR to insert new versions of the script files into a copy of data.pkg, and use Delta Patcher to create the patch file.

That's a kind of tricky question to consider. I don't think the otome game audience would mesh that well with the darker themes of the VNs. It would probably end up being relatively vanilla, and I would really prefer that the series not keep degrading that way. That being said, I see that sort of thing fitting naturally into RPGX. That's also probably where you would want to put female-oriented content anyway, since it's the most accessible and mainstream branch of the series.

It's not a great example, but there was a line recently where I had to seriously deliberate over whether 奥義 should be interpreted more in the sense of "ultimate technique" or "esoteric secret". It seemed to be both at once, in two separate, but connected ways, which couldn't be conveyed in one single English term. That was sure fun.
